Tesco In store have a 3 for 2 on Toys at the moment and it includes the Pokemon Tins which my kid's are going nuts for. I went in today and they had a new batch with tins I've not seen before. £13 each or 3 for 2 is the cheapest you will get these for.

my son got some cards for his birthday but look expensive to build up. there was an advert for the online game on them. online game seems free! and easier to play!

its a great way to get into the game!
when you buy packs and tins, you get a code card which lets you play those cards online :smiley:

Yea, you're right. Total rip off, but it's for kids and it's Christmas. They were about £18 when I looked in Smyths last week, so that at least makes me feel better about paying about £9 each.

Looked at these but thought it said contains 40 cards + 10 foil but you need 60 to actually play the game.....

exactly! we got 3 x packs for his birthday which was 30 cards. not enough for a game! plus we didn't know the rules. so the game online is much better value. heck can get a refurbished tablet to play them on (we use a pc at moment)

4 booster packs (10 cards in each) plus the one limited edition ex foil card to match the tin... They are definitely a rip off but your more likely to get the ultra rare cards that way as they aren't available in the usual deck packs

can you not just put them in the 750g quality street or celebration tubs? after you munch all the sweets of course!

they also had two packs (not in tins) for £14 at asda. not sure how many in the packet if this helps anybody.

You could just buy a deck for a tenner I believe, which is enough to play the actual game :smiley:
