I got one of these and it's the only Philips lighting thing that I've been disappointed with. It just doesn't do anything unless the music is really loud, or if it's literally right next to a speaker, which makes it kind of pointless, especially as it is battery powered. Waste of money even at half price in my opinion.

This was posted recently and I have to reiterate the comment I made, avoid but I recommend the sister product which is the adapter powered 5w lamp, very happy with it (4y owned), use it every day.

It was posted recently, but the price went back up on November 28th and this is the first drop to this price again.

Got one of these the other day. For 12 quid I quite like it and mic seems sensitive enough. Could do with one more control for colour phase speed though.

Excellent product! Would never have bought it if I knew it was battery powered, however since using it i have found multiple uses for it.
