Does the white and colour ambiance starter kit do every colour including all the whites? Really want something like this to do whites and amberish tones..

You want the Philips Hue white ambiance starter kit. This is probably the most practical starter anyway as it also comes with a dimmer which is essential in most homes. Usual price is £99, but can be had for £75 if patient.

That's a different kit it comes with the V1 hub this comes with the V2 hub.

I don't think you're rude. I'm asking the same questions myself, but I keep ordering such 'smart' gadgets. If someone can give me good answers, I may use them to justify all those orders to my wife ;-)
