Question...Can these things be cleaned?
Ive had similar ones but after using them a few times I tend to throw them away because they're filled with gunk and grease from the BBQ
How many uses do people generally get?
Maybe I'm just being thick!

Get a bottle of degreaser and a decent bit of pressure from a hose maybe (might need somewhere you can wedge it ofc so you don't get soaked? I use degreaser on my bike and... a good hose, degreaser, a quick once over with a brush and hose again get it pretty much spotless, considering all the bits that crap can hide in on a bike, it might do you.

never ever use steel bristle brushes...I watched monsters inside of me. the bristles comes loose and end up on food. this in turn causes huge amount of damage to your food tract. BTW the steel can't be picked on xray so Dr's don't now what's causing the distress.
