pointless machine, addwash is a nonsense as you can pause nearly every machine and open the door mid wash.

You can expire the deal by changing the 'End Date' to the past.

Samsung,LG,Miele are the best washing machines you can buy at this day and age.Bosch is hit and miss as some models are good but some cheaper models (I think made in Turkey) are to be avoided.
I wont even consider any other brand no matter how reluable and good they once were or how cheap they are.

This deal has now expired. The price for the washing machine has increased to £429 before any voucher code discounts. Glad I got mine in time. It was delivered yesterday and it's pretty neat! Yes the add wash door is a bit of a gimmick but it was still a great price on interest free credit as it worked out about the same price as a cheaper ecobubble on 19.9% finance deal.

I figure there is always going to be a small subset of products that suffer a problem the main question is whether its a product wide problem but I couldn't agree more, the warranty pretty much makes it a no brainer.

Maybe it's just the floor it's on but I've just bought the 8kg version and on the first go it literally moved across the room :/

Starting to see this more and more. With the advent of 8 & 9Kg machines and spin speeds of 1400 and up there is a more kinetic energy to be controlled. Given that the kinetic energy of an object is directly proportional to the square of its speed the increase from say 1200 to 1400rpm is more significant that it may appear. With the exception of Miele none of the manufacturers appear to be uprating their chassis and mass damping systems sufficiently.

I've just got an 8kg model and have spent ages trying to get it steady when spinning. The old Hotpoint before i just pushed it in with no adjusting feet etc this Samsung shakes around(doesnt walk off) but is no where near as stable as the old one. The build quality is also worse than the old Hotpoint, VERY flimsy front i dented it when pushing it back into the cupboard. Wish i spent extra on a Bosch/Siemens!

What type of flooring is it?
My only other suggestions are ensure its dead level and do the calibration run when you turn it on with 2 of the settings buttons depressed. 'CAL' will show up on the LCD and you hit start, it'll run a 30 second calibration spin.

@badboybez. It's £399 then minus £30 off with GET30
Got to be over £399 to get the £30 off it tells me

You could buy a cheaper one but if buying on finance this one ends up virtually the same price as buying a cheaper one on finance as the cheaper ones on ao.com aren't interest free finance

The following site is for warranty (I've just registered mine for another product, seemed very seamless)
I'm not sure which machines let you open the door. The ones i've owned only let you open the door after you have drained the water. Watching most washes, you can see the water level is above the door seal.
Remember this is an extra feature that doesn't effect anything else, so why not have it?
Since people know of machines that let you do this, proves the point that "you need to do this" sometimes!!!

Not sure what machine you have but very few use enough water to cover the door with the exception of wool washes. The door is pointless and adds considerable cost to the machine, if you buy a Samsung you may as well buy without this feature and save a few more pennies

Thanks op  I've just ordered this machine! My hotpoint is 8 years old now and is so noisy and is making a metallic rattle noise

I too thought "Add Wash" was a gimmick. I gave in to my wife's wishes and bought one with this feature.
Turns out it IS a very handy feature. Essential? No, handy yes!
If you have children, you will soon learn that being able to pop a missing item into an already going wash is very welcome indeed. I myself decided to do some work clothes, not realising i was still wearing my work shirt as the load set off. Normally, i would have to wait the next wash (which could be the next day), or put one shirt through a full wash on it's own. (not going to happen)
No problem now though.....press Pause and pop open the little door. Close then press Play...
I agree, to those "organised" people, not needed. For everybody else who has an item cling to the bottom of the basket or an chaotic life style.....perfect!

thing is you can do this with most washing machines anyway, and open the whole door so you are not having to push your item through a small window.
Bosch is an example - Reload - you can pause, open the door and then resume. Simples.

3 Dec 16#17
no, unless you are on a wool wash then it won't let you open the door

I do, marketing. I agree with others, it's a pointless feature.

If you are so disorganised that you can't sort clothes and you have to add them mid cycle, I'd say a problem it's not with the washing machine.

We have the old version of the ecoBubble which also allows you like our hotpoint to pause and open the door. I've no idea why they decided to add the extra door.

I'd like one these but my cheap Swan washing machine still OK and had it over 4 years now, I'd be just buying for sake of it. When I need new one, similar to one on this deal be my choice.

The latest generation of machines use very little water in most cycles, I'm sure if you check your machine you will see that only very occasionally does the water level rise higher than the bottom of the door seal. My Bosch never seems to have a problem with allowing the door to be opened at any stage of the washing cycle.

only a section in the top of the door opens allowing you to put extra items in without getting your feet wet!

Judging by the hundreds if not thousands of reviews on Reevoo, John Lewis, AO etc of people more than happy with their Samsung appliance, I think you'll be unlucky to have any problems.
Not saying problems don't exist, however they also happen with other manufacturers and perhaps more so with the likes of Indesit Hotpoint group, Hoover, White Knight. Unless you're buying a Miele you can't expect any appliance to last indefinitely and I would say Samsung are definitely a pretty safe bet with the 5 year Warranty too.
