Judging by the hundreds if not thousands of reviews on Reevoo, John Lewis, AO etc of people more than happy with their Samsung appliance, I think you'll be unlucky to have any problems.

Not saying problems don't exist, however they also happen with other manufacturers and perhaps more so with the likes of Indesit Hotpoint group, Hoover, White Knight. Unless you're buying a Miele you can't expect any appliance to last indefinitely and I would say Samsung are definitely a pretty safe bet with the 5 year Warranty too.

only a section in the top of the door opens allowing you to put extra items in without getting your feet wet!

that's ,my point, but checkley73 said all washing machines allow you to open the door to add more, i dont think my LG would without getting my feet wet

The latest generation of machines use very little water in most cycles, I'm sure if you check your machine you will see that only very occasionally does the water level rise higher than the bottom of the door seal. My Bosch never seems to have a problem with allowing the door to be opened at any stage of the washing cycle.

I'd like one these but my cheap Swan washing machine still OK and had it over 4 years now, I'd be just buying for sake of it. When I need new one,similar to one on this deal be my choice.

If you are so disorganised that you can't sort clothes and you have to add them mid cycle, I'd say a problem it's not with the washing machine.

I too thought "Add Wash" was a gimmick. I gave in to my wife's wishes and bought one with this feature.
Turns out it IS a very handy feature. Essential? No, handy yes!
If you have children, you will soon learn that being able to pop a missing item into an already going wash is very welcome indeed. I myself decided to do some work clothes, not realising i was still wearing my work shirt as the load set off. Normally, i would have to wait the next wash (which could be the next day), or put one shirt through a full wash on it's own. (not going to happen)
No problem now though.....press Pause and pop open the little door. Close then press Play...
I agree, to those "organised" people, not needed. For everybody else who has an item cling to the bottom of the basket or an chaotic life style.....perfect!

no, unless you are on a wool wash then it won't let you open the door

I'm not sure which machines let you open the door. The ones i've owned only let you open the door after you have drained the water. Watching most washes, you can see the water level is above the door seal.
Remember this is an extra feature that doesn't effect anything else, so why not have it?
Since people know of machines that let you do this, proves the point that "you need to do this" sometimes!!!

What type of flooring is it?

My only other suggestions are ensure its dead level and do the calibration run when you turn it on with 2 of the settings buttons depressed. 'CAL' will show up on the LCD and you hit start, it'll run a 30 second calibration spin.

I've just got an 8kg model and have spent ages trying to get it steady when spinning. The old Hotpoint before i just pushed it in with no adjusting feet etc this Samsung shakes around(doesnt walk off) but is no where near as stable as the old one. The build quality is also worse than the old Hotpoint, VERY flimsy front i dented it when pushing it back into the cupboard. Wish i spent extra on a Bosch/Siemens!

I figure there is always going to be a small subset of products that suffer a problem the main question is whether its a product wide problem but I couldn't agree more, the warranty pretty much makes it a no brainer.

This deal has now expired. The price for the washing machine has increased to £429 before any voucher code discounts. Glad I got mine in time. It was delivered yesterday and it's pretty neat! Yes the add wash door is a bit of a gimmick but it was still a great price on interest free credit as it worked out about the same price as a cheaper ecobubble on 19.9% finance deal.

Samsung,LG,Miele are the best washing machines you can buy at this day and age.Bosch is hit and miss as some models are good but some cheaper models (I think made in Turkey) are to be avoided.

I wont even consider any other brand no matter how reluable and good they once were or how cheap they are.

You can expire the deal by changing the 'End Date' to the past.
