Admittedly a niche product, but also not something I was expecting to find in the Tesco toy sale - hence my reason for listing it rather than just highlighting it in a Tesco discount thread.
Maybe not the world's greatest list of retro arcade games, but still some good old classics on there.
It's a pretty good price for delivered retro arcade unit.

I aquired one of these from ebay - Fortunately a lot cheaper than this and suprise-suprise it didnt work properly. So I rang up the supplier who wanted to charge £180 to replace the game board. So I took it to pieces to see if I could do it myself. Inside there was a small black sealed box. I broke it open and all it contains is a PSU and one of those 150-in-1 handheld game units you can buy for £15. The screen is a 14" colour TV/Monitor. Not exactly worth the money then.

'No assembly - just plug in & play'
For £629.99 I should bloody well hope so.

Absolute garbage. Had lots of arcade machines over the years (real ones not whatever this is) and never paid more than 300.
Go to jammaplus or ukvac rather than get ripped off with these cowboys trying to screw over everyone for profit.

A DIY would be a lot cheaper though but this is ready to go.

It would be, but I've spent about 10 years trying to get around to building my own!

Youre right. And for the size of cabinet they couldve easily fitted a bigger screen rather than have a massive bezel.

That's disgusting... Definitely not worth the money and the fact they wanna charge £150 for repairs on it is even worse!

I think unless you're a purist you'll get just as much enjoyment using mame / hyperspin on a regular PC & TV setup with a couple of arcade controllers.
I'm hoping one day I'll be able to dedicate some time and money into a Hyperpin Pinball setup

Yeah, that's what I'd go with too.
1x CRT TV (people tend to throw them away so no need to spend money)
1x Arcade Stick (£25-30 or more)
1x PC Tower/PSTV/RasPi (an old Dell tower would do fine or a Ras Pi, a PSTV would be the most expensive choice)
And then build the rest or buy it already done.

I wish I had the technical skill (and money) to build something like TerryRed's PinKadia!.
For the time being I'll make do with Pinball FX VR :sunglasses:
