Seems to be one of the cheapest prices for the i5 version. Plenty of deals on the less powerful M3 version.
No pen included but does have the Typecover.
Quidco cashback avaliable if purchased from Currys
Cashback saving of 11% (£76.89).
This should make it £622.11 after cashback.

could get this 10% cheaper the other week, I am looking daily for a deal for the 8GB i5 version, nothing has come close to the deals with the free xbox one console.

Maybe we will have to wait until the Surface Pro 5 gets close to release before there are any good deals.

Better getting it from Currys and getting 11% cashback from Quidco which is £76.89. This should make it £622.11 after cashback.
surface pro always comes with pen, only an accessory on surface model

Might have been the case with earlier models but there is no standard surface 4 and this definitely doesn't come with a pen.

Over £600 for a tablet with 4gb of Ram seems nuts, unless you only do 1 thing at a time & don't browse with many tabs open.
Not voting cold though - if 4gb is enough for your purposes and you want a surface pro 4, it may be the best price around.

Lmao, the old 4GB isn't enough quote, Windows quite happily runs in 1GB, and works fine in 4GB, I've got the 8GB version and it's only when I start editing photoshop images or running big SQL databases, does it ever show more than 4GB in use. Windows 10 is very good at dealing with memory, and when you run out, it will use a page file on solid state disk, which itself means it's barely noticeable, since the memory that is page out is the memory last used, so you'd probably never know it had swapped out.
In reality this machine is far more likely to cause you problems fitting into the 128GB SSD space, than the lack of physical ram. The SSD can be added to via microsd but you'll find that may limit performance and capacity. But even then, my surface which has photoshop, visual studio, sql server (including the database data) and office 365 installed, I've still got more than 128GB free, but I use a microsd to store media and application code.

Two points on the price, firstly, like an Apple product it will hold its value much better than an Asus, Lenovo etc. Therefore the cost of owning it over a few years could be less than another brand. Secondly, it's a quality product with great design and quality materials.

Correct they either bundle with the keyboard or pen only. sometimes ive seen them without both. And yes in the past the surface pros always came with the Surface Pen

The cashback tracks against price less vat. So 11% of 559.20. Cashback should be around 61.51.
