More likely a clearance to shift them before the next ones come out. Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2 are expected to arrive in Spring so they'll want to start clearing these out now.

Sellers are jumping for such deals . first Currys, Microsoft Store, then Johnlewis and now Amazon . not that these are not selling fine, but Microsoft does want to bring loads of users to their Microsoft Store indirectly by financing such deals.

Sorry go to the ghacks link from that link I gave, the hotukdeals app is hopeless on phones for editing. You DON'T need an account anymore to download from the windows store, sol you can download any free item without an account, that does open things up a lot more now

Its tricky, go to the website, select the option to buy from another seller, click the £971 to basket, click on it in your basket and it should say see promotion available, delete the one currently in your basket and select add both to basket, it is saying eta for stock is 13th dec

Presumably this only includes Amazon as the seller. I can't see the i5 8gb model for sale from Amazon. Loads of sellers on there but not Amazon direct.

Currys have the same deal and I've just got John Lewis to price match so get 3 years warranty.
I think this is the best deal going now.
Doesn't include the keyboard though so an extra £93.99 (best price is Amazon) for that
