You won't know then until you've tried it.
You can buy 100ml bottle of aftershave from the pound shop or you could buy a bottle of Creed Aventus for £230, there's a distinct difference in the quality of the item, hence the price tags!

I am asking this seriously without any bad intention. Why is this yankee candle better and more-more expensive than any other fragranced candle ( like you can buy glade, ambipur, etc for £2-3) ? I have never tried it as I think to spend £10 on a candle is too much for my liking but nowadays so much post is about it. Thanks

The same goes for a lot of things these days though doesn't it? Not just candles. You can buy a plain t shirt for £5 and then a plain t shirt with a small designer embed on for £80 just because of the name. Some people like more expensive brands and some like the cheaper version. Also the main thing in candles is Parrafin oil, and the scented candles release toxins in the air that can be as harmful as second hand smoke from a cigarette, the toxins are called toulene and benzene. Benzene is linked to cancer and toluene can affect the nervous system. So maybe the cheaper candles are higher in toxins and home pollution. That's a maybe. I wouldn't ever tell people what to do with candles but it's always good to share a bit of what you have learned and let them take it from their :man:

Medium Yankee candles last up to 90 hours and other brands similar size only last half as long. I have tried other cheaper brands and they've ended up in the bin as I've had them lit for hours and can't smell them. Definatley worth a try for a fiver if you've never had one

The burning and wick qualidee, burning time and fragrance (as leah meant ions), makes these Yankee candles worth the difference. Some of the fragrances are so sickly sweet (I preferred them before they started bringing out tons of sweet ones over here) but there are some good fragrances and a huge choice. Never ever pay full price though - they're always on sale/marked down somewhere in the land. There are many very good quality alternatives out there, too but you'll new rally not find them on sale to the extent that you will with these.
