Edit- in the shape of a pyramid masquerading as a Christmas tree.

don't understand how these tins sell on eBay to collectors? if you were a collector would you just not go to M&S and buy 1 for yourself.

is it just me or is this year's tin really ugly - last 2 years were much nicer !

The wind-up, musical, revolving tin is better IMO = £6 (also half price). I think the mechanical music box sounds better then the beepy electronic one. Well worth the extra quid.

Agreed. I got this one today and it has a much nicer old fashioned musical box sound than the gaudy digital noise from the pyramid shaped one.
But if you've watched a lot of horror movies lately, this one will scare the **** out of you
