WOW! I didn't read the post as being resentful at all. If you donate to a charity who is promising your children a letter from Santa, they should get one. It doesn't matter who the charity is, how much the parent has donated, whether they've promised a letter back or a lump of gold, they should get one. You can't go promising kids things and not standing by that promise - charity or not. JMO, of course.

Not wanting to dampen your post but I must say that I have donated to the NSPCC this year for my kids. The response from them has been shocking. A week after the order they email to say the cards have finally been despatched and will take 7 to 10 days to arrive!
I understand this is a busy time and probably a popular service but it is very poor service. Posted Santa letter to the Royal Mail address two days before ordering the NSPCC ones. The royal mail ones have arrived and still no sign of the NSPCC.
Save your time and donate to this charity and simply use the excellent Royal Mail Santa service and it only costs a stamp.

its a donation with a free card, you sound almost resentful you've donated without getting a return. How about you stop moaning and maybe join the NSPCC and get others to do so...

Minimum recommended donation is £5 - you need to put that in your title. Voted hot.

If people are ordering now I would be very surprised if the letters arrive in time.

I ordered a fair few weeks ago and still no dispatch email. My kids are asking every day why they've not had a letter from Santa yet this year so will likely get one from somewhere else next year

I ordered mine over 3 weeks ago and still waiting. Great cause donating to the charity but the service has been shocking and have two little kids who still haven't received their santa letters
