I know if I don't post it right after I see it, I will see it posted in 3 days time, like always. And that can't happen!!
I haven't had time to get into this yet as I've just started the Uncharted collection off at long last. But from the little bit I did try it looks really good so far.

I'm about 10 hours in and really enjoying it. excellent story and don't understand the negatives it got in reviews. Not sure if there's any performance issues, I'm playing the PS4 Pro version and it runs perfectly.

I ignore most reviews these days and buy based on my own preferences and previous experience of genre and/or studio. I love the sheer amount of times I've seen the irrelevant Metacritic shoved in people's faces on here as if to say "THERE, see, a load of complete strangers like it, so you're clearly just WRONG not liking it!!" :smirk:
As for any performance issues, I'm guessing those were reported by people buying and playing it on day 1 of release and perhaps forgetting a patch would probably be sent out. It's had another large one rolled out over the past week or so.

I quite enjoyed it, but the lack of variety in missions did get pretty tedious after a while. But it had a good story and characters

well everyone has different opinion and the majority view is not favourable. If you like it, great but to me this seems like a poor man's GTA. the characters is dull, the mission or more like the game is repetitive on endless loops, hell you every execute the bosses in the same exact way for almost all of them. i play 10 hour ish before stopping

I really enjoyed it but they clearly stretched a 20 hour game into a 35+ hour game (times estimated).
The golden rule with this game is not to do all the tasks available, just do enough for the area boss to appear.
If you ask Tesco they will tell you it's run as a separate business - which is probably why people struggle to get them to price match their own site.
It's a similar situation to Sony - you won't find any Sony Xperia phones in Sony shops.

Enjoying the story from the few hours I've played so far,
but it is buggy, and I'm on the latest patch.
It doesn't seem to respond quickly enough when I'm in cover and someone attacks, as an example.

I got 2 deluxe editions off game for £10 each. Ones still sealed with season pass. Dad already had it so probaly sell on :disappointed:
This was back end of november where game listed it as £10 with season pass and they actually honoured it!!

Shot off to Tesco on my lunch from work today and grabbed a copy. Absolute bargain. My 2cents on the old 'repetitive' subject is simple, everything in gaming is repetitive except for story missions. Every game has a 'grind' element and if your criticism of this game is that it's repetitive then you may aswell just bin off COD/FIFA/Battlefield/Uncharted and basically every RPG ever made as all of these games are just a rehash every single year. RPG's have hugely repetitive 'grinds' that enable your characters to level/rank up. If your problem with a game that it's repetitive then you need to take a step back and reassess what you're doing with your time or split it and play a couple of hours a night so it doesn't feel so much like a 'grind'..... Ahhh look at me trying to recommend s***... Do what you feel, say what you want but you'll only start to sound repetitive. ha

Same here. I've enjoyed it. But it is repetitive as people have said. Found this the most buggy game I've ever played. Loads of graphical bugs, issues with missions showing up which shouldn't, and falling through the floor to mention a few.

great game with a top story, but you can tell it's unfinished. there's an airport right at the top of the map. mostly inaccessible, but possible to get to. look on YouTube. sad really that they decided to abandon it to get the game out on time. would rather wait and have an even better game for it.
Also another abandoned airport on the west side of the game, completely flooded. again, I feel unfinished so they just flooded it.
I'm enjoying it though. Worth the money at this price.
