Was posted on here at same price 6 months ago. General consensus seemed to be, better off spending a bit more money on something better. Plus this has no reverse function. If you're after a cheap drill at good price, I'd go for the Bosch deal at Argos.

The brand made me think of Home Alone. Other than that, never heard of them

this drill is SDS though so can be used for chiselling etc?

SDS is the fitting type of the bit that can be used. if you want chiseling action you need to look out for hammer function as well as rotary & rotary/hammer functions. hope that makes sense.

looking at the bits supplied & the functions on the switch I'd say this is can be used for chiselling.

As far as im aware Mac Allister is a B&Q own brand.
I borrowed one of these last year for drilling a concrete floor. 40 holes for M18 throughbolts and it didnt miss a beat.
We have a screwfix 1600w Titan SDS at work and I swear it would survive a nuclear war. Abused daily and still going strong 5 years later. Well worth the money if heavier use is planned.

I would have SDS drill over a hammer drill every single time.

From the reviews and the fact this comes with chisel attachments I'd say it ought to have rota stop.
I was asking myself the same question.
