I bought one of these two months ago at £29.99 and I have been so pleased with it I went to buy another and discovered it was down to a bargain £17.99.
Excellent spread of light and the PIR works great. I replaced a 200W halogen and provides a better light at only 10W.
Great reviews too!

Low in light output - only 750 lm. Lidl had a similar one recently for £8.99.

Does this have an over ride function to keep it on all the time e.g. During a bbq. Or does it only work with the pir?

From the Q&A on the Screwfix website:
This flood light does have an override facility, this is achieved by switching the fitting from the On position Off/On/Off/On.
The fitting will then operate in Dusk Till Dawn only, when the lights levels drop below the set level the fitting will remain on until the light levels are above the set level.
There is not, however, a separate connection for a direct wired override switch.

Is this bright enough to light up a front garden or would a 20w be the better option?

How the hell do we know the size of your front garden?

get the 20w, I originally bought the 10w and was very disappointed with it, took it back for the 20w version, now very happy with it.

I have the 10w version on the back of my house and it is fantastic. Relatively small garden but I think it would be great for any small to medium size garden. The sensor is very good and it has been fine through recent wind and rain unlike 3 halogen lights I've got through in 2 years.

Bought this 30 watt one last week and dropped by a couple of quid to £17 its super bright our gardens very long and lights it up easily, its very slim its a fantastic light fulfilled by Amazon. This seems very poor value for a 10w light they can be had for £11
10w ones tend to be cheaper than this from screwfix pretty regularly. Usually around £13

Have Screwfix ever sold this at RRP.. always been £17.99 from what I've seen. I've this one and the 20W version. They seem better put together than some of the cheaper varieties I've seen.

Just remember that you will need to put a junction box up as light comes pre-wired with 1 metre cable. Put one up for in-laws and it does a great job. Similar light to 100w halogen. There are two types of light given off, a cool bluey white or a warm yellowy white light. Make sure you order the correct one.
