Induction capable ?
Addendum: Yeah it is. Thought it would be, but we'd bought an entire pan set only to discover it wouldn't work on our induction hob (became my sons main Xmas pressie which he was delighted with. Expensive and good quality)

A kettle that rusts? That's stupid, should be called the British Leyland Morris Whistler.
British Leyland Kettle Design Team: OK so what's this kettle's primary objective?
British Leyland Kettle Design Team: Well apart from talking to ourself it's supposed to boil water!
British Leyland Kettle Design Team: Have we achieved this?
British Leyland Kettle Design Team: Well in short not really.
British Leyland Kettle Design Team: I think we should stick to making cars
British Leyland Kettle Design Team: Yeah but we're not that good at that either
British Leyland Kettle Design Team: You're right let's change our name to Rover
Rover Kettle Design Team: I've heard of Deja Vu but this is ridiculous, let's hope some one from Germany buys us out.
BMW Kettle Design Team: We have vays of making you boil!

Yeah did some research into stove top kettles a few years back. There is the rusting issue with these as well as the fact the coloured enamyl apparently tends to blister.
I had one of these that rusted inside. Apparently you're supposed to empty it and dry it every time it's used. No chance of that in our house.

Sounds suspiciously like a patch for a design flaw.

I've had two. First one rusted inside a year and we took it back and exchanged it under the guarantee. The second one lasted about 18 months before the bottom developed a rust hole again and we threw it away.
Save yourself the bother - buy a nice looking electric kettle.
