you mean its a budget/low spec phone aimed at someone with that in mind. Always had HTC phones and build wise, never had a single issue with them, currently on an M8s and has been as reliable as the others before it.
Desire is the entry level range much like the Samsung J series.

Actually decent for the price. 16gb storage and 5inch screen.

It is a really decent phone for £90, Techradar are utterly full of it. Never once given an iPhone or Galaxy S device less than 4.5 stars...

to be fair the review is based on its original price and they are comparing the phone to a Moto G4 which is still around £150. For the spec you get, £90 is not a bad deal at all.
Given the deal some heat anyway

Would not touch it with a barge pole. I have one as a company phone, and it is slow and laggy, button presses are met with huge delays before the system responds. Makes my 3 year old Nexus 5 look fast....

The specs tell you the operating system at the time of the review. The phone could have received an update since then so actually what "took you a minute to find" might not be correct........ Do you actually own a mobile ?

its a snapdragon 210 , so its bound to be under performing a bit.
people tend to be forgiving if they like the look of the phone... in any case good price for those who like HTC UI. But reviews also say the screen is dim, so Im definitely not favouring that (maybe they did it for battery conservation).
Otherwise the motorola's are right around the corner.
Opening post
However this looks a decent price for anyone about to buy the 626.
I'm guessing it's locked to O2 and I've no idea how easy it is to unlock
