Though this isn't one of the recalls, you will need the extra labour warranty as the parts warranty isn't worth a thing without paying a small fortune in labour costs. Terrible quality a once proud British brand.........

Decent price if you're on a budget and not worried about the limited guarantee terms

Never thought I'd see my washing machine on here! Only had for a month now but its been great and runs very quietly. Some very positive reviews too hence the reason for choosing it. Bargain at this price.

Don't buy I bought a couple of months ago don't know why I bothered, doesn't rinse properly leaves soap stains on clothes, hotpoint say they will charge me around £75 if they don't find nothing wrong with the machine,it also has long nearly 3 hrs wash time for a cotton cycle.

Honestly would not even want it for free.

If you feel that way I suggest you stay away from Bosch, Seimens, Neff, Miele, Samsung, Beko, LG, Smeg etc etc
You wouldnt have any white goods in your house. Probably all of them have had recalls for fire risks.

Surprised to see so much negativity here, bought this 18 months ago for £220 and it's been sweet ever since.

you do realise one of those manufacturers actually killed people before instigating a recall don't you ?
I'd say that was far worse than a slow recall.

Every appliance manufacturer has produced dishwashers, dryers & washing machines that have caught fire & been recalled.
