Could possibly get it for £5 if you ring up your local store and collect it rather than click and collect which is £1 extra.

£6.55 will get you one of these plus 50 glue sticks here.
It's not Hobbycraft branded, but I have both and the HC gun gave up the ghost before this one did, so I suspect that quality is much of a muchness with these cheap guns.

glue sticks are best ordered online. last time I got any I paid 85p for 10 7mm sticks, that was on amazon and I didnt look for long. sure ebay would be even cheaper.

I have bought a craft glue gun for my boy in School with all the projects he gets in early years primary school. I have found that the 7mm glue sticks are more expensive and you end up using more of the stick to try and get it to stick whatever you are working on so when my sticks run out I will be buying a cheap one from screwfix so that the sticks are bigger and cheaper to use frequently. It's also easier to buy more sticks whenever you need them as most people now have a Screwfix near them. http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb580htl-glue-gun-230-240v/16101 it's only £9.99 as well
