Couldn't believe my eyes when i seen this in my Lidl store - Hearing aid selling at just £8.99 lol, i don't know what they are like as i have my own from hospital but maybe handy for the people who regularly say "what" all the time

I have terrible hearing, for years I had trouble hearing TV, some conversations etc. Lady in NHS Hearing department said it wasn't bad enough to justify hearing aid. So if you are in same situation one of these could be really useful.
I had another hearing test couple of years ago and now have 2 hearing aids, seems it is more the higher end of vocal range that is affected. I try not to wear them when my daughters are visiting, a lot more peaceful LOL

hearing aids are free at NHS and are fine tuned to suite the type of hearing loss, don't go buying these or any other over the counter hearing aids they won't do you any good.

I got one of these the last time hey were in stock. It almost burst my eardrum! really loud amplification. Unfortunately there is no setting to mute really loud noises, so when my grandson screamed near me, it nearly put me through the roof.
My hearing loss is mainly caused by tinitus masking quiet noise, so maybe a good buy for someone with acute hearing loss.

Maybe best for the hard of hearing to use for watching TV or using telephone etc when theres no children or loud people around, maybe good to consult your own GP to get properly diagnosed at hearing aid clinic for the more worse hard of hearing persons

These are great, but are even better if you can block unwanted noise entering the ear canal. A cheap hack is to insert the hearing aid and from Poundland buy a tube of silicone sealant and the cage.
Cut the tip off the tube- only a small hole get a friend/ or it your arms are long enough, yourself- and slowly pull the trigger whilst positions nozzle behind the hearing aid sleeve/tip and let it fill up the ear canal and the outside of your ear.
This will give you a perfect deal of your ear and save you a fortune getting an audiologist to do a ear mold.
2 part epoxy-resin is better, but it has a very short working time and it can get quite warm.
Polyfila can be used, just make sure it's not too runny, or too thick- as you don't want it breaking off in chunks because you didn't add enough water.
