I also have this drill used it to drill into brick with no issues I think as long as you use the correct drill bits you will be fine, great deal :smiley:

got one of these drills last month,used it on butter,chocolate, even jelly. no problem.really good

I got one of these a few months ago for about £20. I've drilled house bricks, concrete etc. The key is to buy the right drill bit for the job. It's a decent drill for home use in my experience and I would definitely recommend it. At this price it's a bargain.

Decent bits make a huge difference.

Would this be useful for me. Or should my drill be sufficient and it's just be that is the weak link?

Would be ok for drilling into bricks and blocks no problem.
