Grand Theft Auto V for PC features a range of major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever. Mostly pointless to have it on steam when it launches via rockstar's client anyway. You are just adding another layer of drm.

This might sound like a stupid question but is the key redeemable on steam?

Hi, I don't believe so - however, you can add 'non Steam game' to your Library if you want to launch it from steam and have the Overlay, etc.

Depends on whether or not Steam keeps the game files (and launcher) updated. When I launch a game I want the game to launch. I don't want it to go off checking for and downloading updates. I want that done already (when I wasn't gaming).
I don't know for sure but I would assume that Steam does this?

Steam does this in the background automatically. I always prefer Steam deals. Recently had to download GTAV for a friend who bought a new PC and it was such a pain without Steam. R*'s website is super broken, had to download social club via a 3rd party website, login to that crap, get it to update itself then finally got it to download GTAV. With Steam, you don't have to mess around with social club.

I played and finished the main mission on 360 - still tempted to get this for the upgraded graphics ... worth it?

Yes, I had it on PS3 and bought the Steam version for my PC a couple of days ago, running very high settings at 1080p with between 60-80FPS and it's like a completely different game (running an i5 4690k with GTX970 and 16GB RAM)
Totally agree, in the 2hrs I've been using K&M, it seems like driving, shooting & running are much better. I assume that you disable the auto aim assist in the menu? Also I thought controller and K&M players were separated in multiplayer? or is that just when you disable aim assist?
Opening post
No intro needed - cheapest I can see around
Steam - 19.99
