Just been looking at car deals on lease and noticed this, seems to be good value for a Golf GTD. Only downside from my point of view it needs to be delivered in December to get this offer.
Initial Payment £1695.51
23 x £188.39
Broker Fee £180
it's a 2 year lease with 10,000 miles pa
Total Cost £6208.48 with all fees, so true cost £258.69 a month for a brand new Golf GTD estate doesn't seem a bad deal at all.

Wow this is most peaceful leasing thread I've ever seen people would usually be at eachother's throats by now

Works out around 22% of the car price (RRP), which is what I aim for (or lower) to decide if its a good deal.
Skoda yeti monte carlo DSG in another post works out around 19% of RRP, which was great deal.
I personally waiting for my Tiguan which also works out at 22% of RRP.
As over 2 years, the car would have dropped more than that, more like 40% in 2 years. (if buying new)
I think the general rule is, it's a good deal if it is less than the depreciation of whatever car you thinking of.
yeah your right.... guess you could try and get the broker fee taken off, if that's possible from Horizon Vehicle Leasing then the deals cheaper still. Either company looks great value to me.

Who pays RRP for cars? It is only used to work out BIK...

You need to work out true monthly cost of ownership. Depreciation or leasing cost, it all comes down to £s ultimately
I'm not saying paying RRP, its just a measuring tool to work out if the PCH was worth considering.
When buying by other means (except PCH) its true that no one really pays RRP, places like carwow/brokers etc, but then you finance it which the interests adds up.
I've not really come across a PCP deal that cost me less over the term, for eg. say a deal like this one.
Maybe someone knows there's such deal?

seems a good deal
I'm interested but a bit worried that i might get stung for minor scuffs etc at the end if the deal, should i be worried about this?

No. All leases are covered under the dvlra fair wear and tear policy. It is very generous. Only things you would be getting fixed anyway if it was your own car are chargeable.
