I was late to the party with one of the HD versions on PS3 and enjoyed it a lot so in my opinion you don't need to play the others to enjoy them.

was my first game in the series on ps3. epic game. then got the next one which was nowhere near as quality in fact it was so bad I can't even remember its name

I'm usually a huge fanboy for first party Sony games and am love the Devil May Cry series and spent ages reading and watching reviews from people that all seemed to love this game but it just didn't live up to the hype for me when I bought the remaster on PSN recently

Have they subtitled it this time in the remastered version? My son is deaf and was disappointed not to hear any of the dialogue in the original game so he didn't play it, so refunded.
