Paid £89 for mine a while ago, I drive to and back from Greece twice a year and this has been superb. RED HOT at £40 with lifetime updates.

There is one in Bletchley.
I'm tempted, but half the benefit of satnav is re-routing around bad traffic.

Heat from me, but just telling my story.
I bought a Ex-Display and it worked at first for a couple of days and just as we were nearing the destination just outside London it stopped working, just my luck, we traveled 8 hours from Scotland. Two hours later, just about divorced with the kids going crazy. We got there. Just use your google on your mobile phone that's what we did and I found it better and clearer. Xxx

I use Google Maps on my phone but it's certainly not a replacement for a satnav. It's the small things like reminding you of the speed limit, telling you where safety cameras are, and being able to customize the screen to show what you want it to show. Waze is closest (free) thing for a phone but that really drains your battery - even when you're not using the app!

I have this in my workvan and it drives my insane sometimes, half the addresses I need to visit it doesn't have in its database and if u take a wrong turn it takes forever for its little brain to reroute u. I have tomtom and Waze on my mobile which works much better.

In the past we had a sat nav and then bought another. However, over the past few years we just use the free Navmii sat nav app on our mobile phones. It keeps the database map of the whole of the UK on your phone, so there is no high data usage. It shows your speed and speed limits etc. There is a small charge for maps of other countries. Also used it in France.

I will never use a sat nav without real time traffic... I use Google map daily to go to work so it tells me alternative routes when something is wrong
