I was doing some research into audiobooks and stumbled upon this...
In short, OverDrive lets you access audiobooks that are available from your local library. You can signup for free using your library membership, download them remotely and listen on your phone or computer.
I live in Leeds and there are over 5000 audiobooks available to me. I've just signed up for a library membership online (free). Once I've activated my membership (it comes through the post), I'll register for OverDrive using my library card and get access to all of the audiobooks for free.
Cheers I'll give it ago. I don't know how you "borrow" an audio book on-line as I presume you download it.?

good to see this up for newbies every so often.
@ Sambat. yes you download the books (audio/e-) for offline use. some libraries use oneclickdigital.com instead of overdrive.com. check with your local to see which is their preferred app.
cheers, op.
