Another corking price for flights to the US. In particular Orlando. There's only 500 seats at this price and I'd imagine they'd go pretty quickly. Outbound dates from 24th March until 17th May, so not a bad window to book really.
And that is why this is such a good deal, low prices no kids!

Can you not grasp the simple principle of supply and demand? What do you expect them to do with the seat capacity they have invested in so they can accommodate your school holiday needs - fly the planes around empty for the rest of the year? I hate your kind of ignorant moaning.

I believe the point he or she was trying to make was the human race would survive with or without YOUR kids. There are hundreds of millions of people breeding like rabbits to pick up the fractional slack. Some of whom you wouldn't trust to rear a tomato plant let alone another human being. Personally, I agree with people who decide this planet is full enough especially after my accidental trip to a Harvester in half term holidays.

The human race would survive if people didn't have kids? Interesting theory.

Very warm, even hot, but without the summer humidity, long daylight hours and less crowds make this an excellent time of year to visit.

I really fancy it, can't stand humid weather! I did Egypt once and nearly fell over just thinking about going outside

Go for it then. Exchange rate not great but offset this against cheaper hotel/villa prices and car hire. We used carhire 3000 a couple of times, based in this country. Paid for it all upfront so no nasty surprises when we got there. Last car through them was with Alamo, although they use all the hire firms, and paid an extra $30 for the gold package that included a free (20 gallons in our jeep) tank of gas.

Very limited dates, pretty much nothing worth doing in half term.

Sorry but whilst this is undoubtedly a great deal for those without kids the prices as much as triple during the school holiday periods so it has to be a cold from me on the principal that I hate this practice. Absolutely typical of Thomas Cook.

Surely March/April fits in perfectly with the Easter holidays?

Nobody said you had to have kids. I'm sure the human race would have survived without them.

what ever next companies reacting to supply and demand and looking to maximise their profits

It's supply and demand, more people obviously will want the school holiday dates so they cost more. Same principle applies to most things, hotels charge double or more when events or gigs are on nearby, even peak and off-peak hours for phone calls or energy rates work on the same principle. It's never going to change until makes good business sense to do so, and by that I mean financial gain.

It does. And the flights are closer to £600 on those dates...
