Nothing wrong with turn based if that's what the man (or woman) likes. I believe there is a tactical option which pauses the game between attacks or something for fans of the older style of play.
I'd like the game but I'm lucky if i get time to take a dump at the moment, let alone complete a final fantasy game.

I once waited a month to get a refund on a game Gameseek never sent me. I ordered when there were 26 left in stock (haha yeah right!), the game never got sent out, then after my third phone call to complain I finally got a refund. I can highly recommend that people avoid Gameseek at all costs :man:

I had such high hopes for this, being a Final Fantasy nut.
You should be put off by the "This is a final fantasy for new players" warning message when you start the game.
It's basically Monster Hunter.
It's awful. At least I got £32 for it at CEX.

really sounds like you are not playing it right as most people are enjoying it, it does take a few hours to get used to it, don't tell me you want turn based combat you do know how stupid that would look, with the games graphics etc?

it's a pure Final Fantasy experience, fans should love it as there is a lot of fan service there.
sounds like someone has decided to spend all their time doing hunting instead of playing story missions.

I agree. I've spent hundreds of hours playing FF games in my life and I was ready for something a little different, especially when it comes to the combat. I'm only 20 hours in, but I'm finding it so fun.

I'm really enjoying the game. 23 hours so far and I'm still on Chapter 3. The only problem I'm having with the game is that when it comes to bedtime, I'm struggling to get off it. :laughing:

Whilst I like this game, i definitely prefer turn based Final Fantasy and the wait mode isn't quite the same.
This game does feel more like a fight game to me during the combat sequences, so I can understand the Monster Hunter comments, although I have only just started out and killed a few scorpions after playing the tutorial.
I will reserve judgement for now

Don't waste your time with these guys, ordered Playstation Move controllers and paid, nearly a month later no delivery, no tacking information and no sense from their customer service - I have had to raise a claim through paypal. Buyer Beware!!!!
