PC Steam Codes on Amazon.com for $3.30 each = £2.59
Log in to Amazon. Got to "My Account". Select "Manage Your Content and Devices". Choose "Settings" tab. Select "Country Settings" and enter a US address.
Ideally, use a conversion-charge free card to purchase if you have one (e.g. Halifax Clarity, Santander 123, Sainsburys Gold).
Thank you to the posters below for the tips on cards and country limitation workaround.
Not bad, though you may wish to wait for the GOTY versions and pay like £1 more as they are usually under £4

Money Saving Expert has details of the costs of conversion for many cards in the "Non-sterling transaction fee" column here: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/overseas-card-charges
E.g. Most cards charge around 2.95%, but some credit cards, including Sainsburys Gold and Santander 123 (this one until 31st Dec) don't add any extra costs. It's the same when buying Humble Bundles in dollars.

Is Fallout 3 the greatest game of all time?

Have they fixed the problem with this on Windows 10?
Thanks, but unfortunately nothing within there worked for me.

What's the problem you see?

Options/launcher screen displays ok, but then the game crashes on launch irrespective of compatibility settings, and running as administrator brings up another error message - something to do with 'live.dll'.
There was a time years ago when I'd be prepared to jump through all sorts of hoops to get a game to run; not anymore, especially as I've already played Fallout 3 for something over 190 hours.

That *is* a lot of hours :o) but in case you want to play more, did you try this (hence live.dll error)?http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Fallout_3#Play_without_Games_for_Windows_-_LIVE
