For what it's worth I actually think it looks rather cool and having a Dutch style step through bike myself I happen to know that it will be very comfortable because of the rider's upright stance.

God, that thing makes a Nissan Juke look pretty!!
Hard to judge the heat though, as an ex rental it could be carpeted to death.

Even better: who is going to steal a blue or nasty green Townie (carpeted)
I think a serious buyer would ring and ask about a particular bike.
They are all alloy construction and I imagine that they wouldn`t sell anything that was unsafe or hadn`t been properly maintained.

Nothing can make a Nissan Juke look pretty, it looks like one of Salvador Dali's paintings!

I'll tell you what makes a Nissan Juke look pretty-a picture of my wife sitting in her Nissan Juke.*

I suppose this might be appealing to some commuters: it makes no pretense of being a serious cyclist's bike so it might be seen as an alternative to a moped or bike to get to the station. I don't suppose it would be all that attractive to thieves

It's a conventional, not electric, bicycle.

I can guess it's meaning, but where on earth does "carpeted" come from?

My interpretation is `treated like a carpet` equals very well trodden on!

Electra Townie Original 3i 2016 Hybrid Bike
What's hybrid about it? The design or something else? It does look like unisex mind.

Hybrid to me means a cross between several things: in this case, I think it is a cross between a traditional sit-up-and-beg bicycle and a modern city bike

when I lived in Holland, the assortment came with a free women's town bike. every night after work I'd go for an hour round the town, in perfect comfort. I might have looked ridiculous but it was so nice to ride.
