Anyone know if the Stanley fatmax range can use the batteries and vice versa. They look super similar.

I'm not sure but I suspect this is exactly the same as the Stanley Fatmax drill a few weeks ago at Homebase/Argos (£69.99). Stanley and De Walt are part of the same. I bought that drill, it's been great.

I've got both (one at home the other at work) and I keep forgetting to check
I'll try to remember to bring the battery in!

1.5 AH batteries will not last long with an 18v drill.

Although I don't disagree that 1.5Ah is a relatively small capacity, the voltage is irrelevant to how long it lasts. An 18V 1.5 Amp hour means a battery capable of outputting 1.5 amps for an hour at 18V. This equates to 27 Watt-hours. A 10.8V 1.5 Ah battery equates to 16.2 Watt-hours. So, in fact, you can do 66% more work with an 18V 1.5Ah than a 10.8V 1.5Ah...

That would be ace if you could let me know. I've got some fatmax stuff but dewalt stuff is sometimes cheaper so it would be handy to swap batteries about!
