doesnt look very sheltered for a shelter, not exactly going to hold much of an event in it either

You're right - in this photo, both the blokes are sat outside the shelter
Good for when sitting on a blanket, I guess

Great price, this size is usually around £150 on ebay - 2nd hand!

I doubt that.
These are fairly large and the apex of the arches aren't massively inset from the overall footprint.
Note however with a 600mm HH (how waterproof it is) this may not be up to holding off our typical heavy rain, although holds up fairly well from experience.

See the woman in pink, thats Megan. Megan looks like she's playing a board game but is actually telling little Dorothy not to tell her father (Phil in blue) that she's been seeing a lot of Richard (in red) lately. Richard's wife sitting between the two has no idea

Nope.
There's no way that an adult could be sat underneath with their legs stretched out. I would hazard a guess you'd be taking up approximately a cubic meter (so, 4ish adults packed next to each other from one side to the other) - in the photo it would appear you could sit 8 or 10 in that manner. It's 4.5 meters? How is that possible? IT's got be camera angle/cropping/blatant deception - talk to me after you get back from Specsavers.

Do you own one? Do you find it substantially smaller than the picture indicates? So much so you feel its falsely described?
Its a big shelter.

These are brilliant, had one for camping this summer, got 5 adults , in our camping chairs, around a table, with our little kitchen set up at the side with no problem, plus the kids in and out out of the rain! Get a couple of clip on side panels if you can, helps to keep you sheltered from the wind. Much better than those pop up gazebo things we used to use ! Bargain!

Used my 4.5m shelter for camping last summer. Had 12 adults in it with camping chairs and one table. There was plenty of room. Did have 2 side walls up.
