Has anyone ever had a quidco bonus pay out. Whenever they email me telling me about a bonus, I duly complete checkout and it conveniently doesn't track so no bonus or cash back.
I find quidco to be a waste of time in general. Always declined etc.
Is top cash back any better?

I generally find TCB are much better for customer service, but tracking etc generally the same.
Some retailers are notorious for declining cashback. In these cases, assuming you follow the rules its best to use Imutual is covered by their guarantee. Then you can claim even if denied by retailer.

My one with ToysRus and WHSmith tracked. However it hasn't been confirmed so no 10 pound bonus yet. I'm hopeful.
I've never had a bonus payment. Topcashback offered me a bonus before too and although after a claim I got the tacked cashback, I never received the bonus. I think these companies are the same sort. I only use quidco now though due to laziness.
Quidco works. I have earned a bit. Had lots of rejections in the early days so now i delete my browsing history before clicking through on Quidco as I think this site has tracking cookies and stops my quidco tracking.

Yep. It seems it differs from person to person but in my experience they are better than Quidco
In fairness, tracking they are both equal for me and reliable. The single MOST important advice for getting a purchase to track is to clear browser history prior to clicking through and completing the transaction in one go.
Okay that's two things; but equally important
Other than that I found tcb customer service to respond quicker and actually resolve. Instead of a stock generic answer I've had from Quidco that hasn't answered what I asked

Personally the incredibly unfair terms for consumers produced by Quidco are:
Quidco reserve the right to remove any account holders from the promotion that they feel may breach any of these terms and conditions or may bring the participant or the promotion into disrepute.
This includes purchases that may be fraudulent or otherwise contrary to the spirit of the promotion.
Not sure those would stand up against complaints to the consumer watchdog!
edit: nonetheless if you follow the terms and don't go in thinking it is a guarantee then these are great promo's.

Quidco holds a list of account holders eligible for this promotion. Ineligible account holders will not receive communications regarding the promotion from Quidco and will not be entitled to receive the £10 bonus.
Are we now including VAT in the £50?...which is a shame as last time it was £50 with M&S I spent £51 including vat but that was not enough it seems...should have been £60

I haven't seen one comment saying they received the communication about the bonus ie. an email. So I think it's Quidco's cryptic way of referring to the offer advertised on the Quidco website which is a form of communication.
"Ineligible account holders will not receive communications regarding the promotion from Quidco and will not be entitled to receive the £10 bonus." Translate: if you are ineligible you will not go the website and see the offer and you won't get the bonus. Yeah, very helpful.

All found in the terms and conditions. 3 days after cashback CONFIRMED. This is very different from tracked. Confirmation takes anywhere between 2weeks and 4 months. Given the retailers offered during black Friday were slow retailers, expect 3 months to go confirmed THEN 3 days to have bonus added.
They have records of participants. I think last time I used a quidco bonus was xmas 2014...arrived for xmas 2015!(very slow retailer)

I'm confused as to how these cashback offers work. I joined Quidco to get 25% cashback on a game from CDKeys for one day - November 11. No cashback so I contacted CDKeys who said it was a Quidco only promotion and they had no control over it whatsoever. Is it a con by Quidco to get people to join?
Mark43 to bignig
12 Dec 16#56
Not a con, though there are some occasions where they fail to pay. But CDKeys are correct that you need to contact Quidco to resolve the issue rather than them.

How can free money be a con? - NEVER buy based on quidco cashback soley and always do a quick check to ensure you cant find product cheaper elsewhere without cashback needed. Ive over £1350 of paid cashback vi quidco over 8 years now, and it is worth taking time to go via them when ordering online. Sure some of the 'bonus' payments seem a bit hit or miss - but they are what they are - bonus.
Basic lesson ive learnt regarding quidco:
1: Retailers can be slow or quick to track and then slow or quick to pay out - example why would an insurance company pay out £50 cashback promptly - they want to you get half way through a yearly premium before paying out to prevent you simply cancelling, pocketing cashback and getting policy refunded.
2: Shopping on the mobile isnt as reliable as using home PC and some retailers wont track via mobile.
3: If you go premium member you will be charged £5 per year from your earnings (it doesnt cost you just reduces your earnings - i.e £10 cashback you will see £5 of it to cover premium fee) - I find premium worth it as the live chat feature has enabled me to resolve some tracking issues promptly.
4: Some retailers are terrible for not paying out - look at the reviews and payment timings on the site to see if its realistic your get paid out
5 If you use a voucher code and then quidco your chance of quidco paying out will likely be reduced - i.e a 5 shirts for £100 code with Charles tyrwhitt may mean quidco is no longer valid
6: Cashback will be calculated on the pre VAT price - so 10% of that £1000 TV wont be £100.
7: Retailers will not knwo what your talking about if you mention quidco or topcashback to them - often you might purchase something via quidco and need to call the retailer or the retailer calls you - becareful this could be a sales staff member claiming the commision - example - you order sky via quidco - you then get a call from sky sales team asking you to confirm the order - they are ion fact nabbing the online order as there own sale and you wont get quidco paid out.
