Has anybody seen this £10 cashback getting understood at all ? I seem to have seen is people complaining the usual cashback being tracked but not the additional £10 even though they activated for their account.

Read the terms. It isn't difficult to understand. I can't believe so many people are still asking this question.

Amazing how none of three purchases tracked on this promo - requiring to raise claims for each one

I have received similar offers in the past by email. I did not receive an email this time. Every time I have availed of one of these offers I had to make a claim and present the email as proof I was eiligible.

My purchase was split into two and tracked on the 15th as well, I spoke to support who said the offer was recorded properly on their end and I was correctly eligible for the offer.

I also didn't get an email invite, doesn't matter, opting-in on the site is what counts. Their T&C seem a bit of a mess.

Same deal but not only has it tracked as two offers but tracked for the 15th! I ordered on the 13th...

Edit: oh no it looks like another error in the notifications feed - in activity it shows the 13th. There are a few problems with notification feed the last month e.g. cashback saying declined where it isn't. Always check your activity feed for best info.

I did not receive email, but i opted-in and as i was able to do this i am eligible!!!

I had 2 items (24 + 16) which have not been split but they are both fragrances, may be they split items from different departments (debenhams)

I had 4 items at £42 and mine seems to have split into 4 orders when it tracked. Hope they're not being sneaky!

I also ordered from Debenhams last night. 3 items in one order for £30 total, but tracked as two orders £15 each?!? Pfffffffff

Bought with Debenhams last night so look forward to the bonus. It says on the offer that the £10 will only be added to your account once your purchase has been confirmed (I.e. Moved from fracked to confirmed.) you also have to make sure you've opted in first.

I've had a couple of times quidco haven't tracked but they've always sorted it out pretty quickly for me/in the same amount of time I'd have to wait for the cash back anyway

My small Quidco purchases usually track fine, these £10 deals somehow never even track for me having spent way over the min amount. Funny that.

You'd think a mod would note all this bad publicity being generated and seek clarification statement. I know they have the same ownership, but surely there must be some communication between business entities? I know when there were earnaway deals on here - also owned by them- there was a very helpful customer service rep who answered questions.

By confirmation, it means the £10 is applied when it goes from 'Tracked' to 'Confirmed' in your Quidco activity - not that you receive an email confirming your order.

As i said lots of times in this thread quidco are very sneaky and have decided to omit the ex vat in the t&cs of this bonus but all last week included it at the end of the t&cs so im not sure whats going on good luck.

Went for some aftershave I've been after a while from debenhams. Cost £43.20 and has tracked at £2.38. No mention of the £10.

Quidco have been in business a long time they know 'the score' they are clearly making money out of us by false advertising if they dont pay out. ie No VAT mentioned as an 'exclusion'

Yes no mention of vat thats why i asked but was told some retailers only track cashback minus the vat so to factor it in to be safe ? it did take me over what i wanted to spend.

Regardless of anything else, it certainly is not legal to retroactively alter Terms and Conditions and the terms currently mention nothing about VAT. So if it the subject does arise in the future, hold them to it. They have no right to alter the agreement after the purchase.

That said, it's almost certainly just support being misinformed.

DO NOT sign up to this scheme when offered! You will be in a monthly contract whereby £10 a month is taken from your account for membership of this cashback club. Stick to topcashback, quidco or imutual which are all free.

These schemes are operated by webloyaly, which has a very dubious pass. No not unless it's a quidco code it says this on all cashback from quidco. You can take a chance but it will decline the cashback at a later date unless as i said it's a quidco code.

Dear all please take account of the contradictory messages coming from Quidco help! Some have reported it as VAT does not matter, unless explicit in terms and conditions that VAT is excluded. However others say that it is excluding VAT. For a response on similar offer with no mention of VAT, they have now replied (after offer expires of course):

"I do apologise that these terms are unclear, to be eligible for this bonus you would need to spend a minimum of £50.00 excluding VAT and delivery."

Got a fitbit Alta from boots for £84.49! (I think a good deal in itself considering a small band blue alta seems to be OOS everywhere that sells for under £90). If quidco tracks at 3.85%, and with this £10 cashback, that'll be £13.25 back! Total for an alta sorted for £71.24...probably still overpriced imo but a decent Christmas gift :smiley:

Was something Oos, and removed from order, or did it break it down to two purchases? I'd challenge that one.

The whole VAT thing is a red herring IMO, we are consumers as quidco members not 'registered businesses' registered with quidco as such so VAT is included in a purchase price not separate - if quidco are trying to imply such that is a unfair term and anyone experiencing such should be reporting quidco to trading standards as they are inducing a sale via a incentive by manipulation - of VAT as excluded, HMRC only allow exclusion of VAT on business to business transactions, so if you are self employed as a minimum buying as such yes quidco can do it - the majority of HUKD & QUIDCO members are NOT self employed or businesses - CONSUMERS

Spoke to chat yesterday and was told add vat but no mention of it in the t&c's so they are being very vague again as all other £10 bonus offers from the last 2 weeks mentioned excluding vat & delivery so why not this time ???

bought £27 quid worth with free delivery from feel unique, but its only tracked at £23 at quid co which means i miss out on the £10, they obvs have deducted the "free delivery" as some worth. just be aware ...

I made a purchase on Nike near the end of November and that didn't track , raised a claim and spoke to support on live chat and all they say is check browser !!

Think it just means it the maximum number of people have subscribed to this deal. You have to order by midnight Wednesday if you were successful.

All my purchases I would have bought anyway, even without the £10 incentive. I never buy something based on the amount of cashback I could get.

With cashback, there is always a chance the retailor could refuse to pay for no valid reason which will mean losing the £10 bonus.

you have to wait 3/4 months when it is confirmed.

Having done a £10 incentive for a £30 spend and another £10 incentive for a £50 spend, how can I refuse this latest £10?

However I am starting to feel uneasy that these are all purchases made simply due to the £10 incentives. And given the sheer number of Quidco members (all doing multiples like me), how many hundreds of thousands of pounds are Quidco due to pay out?

There is nothing in the t&c's about different departments & nothing about only 1 item can be bought to qualify for the bonus. Its probably nothing as i cannot believe quidco would be so sneaky as lots of people would leave and use tcb instead but quidco are very sneaky and vague when advertising offers until you read the fine print but with this nothing is mentioned.

Boots reports spend including VAT, so £25 spend is fine.

Check your transaction actually tracks, I did the Argos bonus and it failed to track or even show in activity that I had clicked through to the site. I was definitely signed in and accepted the offer on the main page then clicked through to the site, made the purchase and paid for it. Yet absolutely nothing tracked, was told to wait 30 days and then chase it up! Instead I took the item back to Argos and purchased from a different retailer via TCB.

I was panicking a bit, realised shop had been broken into beauty gift and clothing, thought aha, that's how they've got us. But just re read t and c with fine tooth comb and it does not specify beauty anywhere, nor dept.

Never had this happen before but i opted in for the £10 bonus made a purchase for £33 and the 3 items bought together as one order have all tracked in separate transactions on quidco taking the amount under the £25 min spen hope this is not another quidco sneaky move.

All these deals from Qco at the mo are really good assuming they pay out. Have to say though any time I've had issues, have found Qco support quite rude and unhelpful.

Nice deal but I've given up on Quidco now. Too many transactions not tracked, claims rejected and general customer service problems. I did a couple of these £10 offers earlier in the month but to be honest I'll be surprised if they actually pay out

I am not sure if we can trust Quidco. Ive made an purchase of 65 pounds at M and S. Supposed to get 10 pounds cashback but still Quidco havent confirmed the 10 pound cashback. Created an Claim, none answered. I am not sure its going to work. Its cold .Its kind of Scam. Dont trust

The payments will come through after the initial cash back amount is confirmed, not just tracked, which usually takes months!! I just had one confirmed from April!
