We just got this for Christmas, I probably wouldn't buy it personally.
Couple of annoying things.
Overflows if you don't have a large mug (I like my milk in first).
I always make my mrs a cup of tea when I make one, bit of a pain individually making two cups.
Pro's
Handy in the morning before I go to work, cup, suger, tea bag ready, just press a button while I have a ........ brush my teeth :laughing:.
I actually like it but next one up with variable water levels would be nice.
Great price heat added..

After getting through 2 Breville kettles in the last 3 years (never poured properly, the sprung lids pack in after a few weeks & the first one decided to leak water all over my kitchen worktop & floor one night at about 10 months old), I`ll never buy another product made by them, no matter how cheap.

You're best sticking with one brand you like and are happy with, better the Breville you know.

Had mine well over a year and works great. Just wish the water holder was larger.
Just make sure you've got the right sized cups which is easily done after using it a few times.
Its probably saved me a fortune over the time I've owned it as my Mrs can no longer boil a full kettle of water every time she just wants one cup :smile:

Had one of these, was good while it lasted but sprung a leak after a year and could not be fixed

Have had two of these and both were a nightmare and faulty within a short period of time, would never buy one again. Water leaks and electrical wiring just dont seem safe to use.

Do you not still need a kettle for filling saucepans, paddling pools blah blah blah? Seems it might be best suited to an office kitchen, unless you have the space to double up?

Had one for 6 years, quick so two or 3/4 cups is not a problem - I use it with a cheap standard plastic jug, press the button, get the cups, press button again, add the sugar/milk to cups, press button again, add tea/coffee....you get the picture.
Easy and quick.
If you are using a decent coffee, not Nescafe folks, but no milk add a bit of cold water to the coffee/sugar - stops the coffee burning on impact as coffee should not be using boiling water - 90-96c & 80-85c for instant :wink:

This thing has awful usability. It only give exact amount of water every time after 1 minute heating it. You cant have a little bit more or less. Then the inside of it is not accessible, so you cannot wash it or empty it. I think its a matter of time till some sort of algae starts living there and you cant get to it.

I'm using normal kettle for years... I'm not filling it up fully just what I need. that saves water and energy too! :stuck_out_tongue:
