I don't seem to get these. My latest one is:
Your exclusive reward from eBay & Vue. Redeem 3,000 points with eBay between 9-12 December and receive 1,500 points back, for a cinema ticket with Vue.

Just half?
Doesn't matter how much you save before new year, the price increases on the 2nd will more than eat into it!

Trains run on New Years Eve and New Years Day. They don't run on Xmas Day & Boxing Day.

Where is the source for "minimum £1 to trigger the deal"? My nectar deal says" with any booking".

I doubt it is written anywhere - it will be based on past experience with all Nectar offers.

These are the people who are putting up train fares more than any other in January - up to 7%. Just 2 years after taking over the franchise fares have already gone up 15% on the east coast routes. I don't have any printable words to describe this company. Presumably they think they can dupe people and salvage some of their reputation by tossing out a few special offers like this every so often. Cynical beyond belief.

For some "strange" reason, you missed out that they are also replacing a large part of their stock with the new azuma's and they recently completed a £45m overhaul of their current stock. If you know how much a single Azuma will cost to rent (I believe it's 325k a month), it's easy to see why they put their price up. Do you prefer that they raise the prices 7% each year or just wait 3yrs and then raise them 21%?

Why should I know or care about every detail of their business plan? All I know the fares on the trips I make will have gone up by 22% in under 3 years, making them some of the most expensive fares in Europe. You're obviously not bothered about paying through the nose (if indeed you use the East Coast service) - I'm am.
