Found this in my 'due diligence' before buying the Bush 1400rpm from Argos, to make sure I wasn't missing better deals (and really wanted to avoid Bush).
For the additional 19 quid, you get a great-priced Beko - tends to be more reliable, and this one's slightly faster and has a brilliant energy rating.
vs Bush's:
Spinning noise level 78dB(A).
Washing noise level 59dB(A).
Evidently down from £299.99. Don't forget to go through TCB or Quidco and you could pay ~£165 delivered effectively.

Beko products are made in turkey

Not sure that makes a difference, after all Apple products are made in China.Turkey makes good electrical, motor and textile products and great food, all our household goods are Turkish and they are fine,no problems after 10 years use.
I have this machine and is excellent value for money. A 30c quick wash takes 28 mins and 60c wash for towels 58 mins. Good construction and doesn't bounce about all over the place. The price shown is an average price as it's been similar for ages and was this price when I bought it. I also have a five year old Beko American fridge freezer which has been faultless and would have no hesitancy about buying more from Beko.

Was thinking about getting this along with a five year guarantee. Not too sure just yet.

have this machine too, great machine. The 1600 spin is superb, clothes dry much faster as a result (although the cycle time is increased, not a problem for me but may be for others)

Just in case people want to know about Which review.

This will never score more at this price, this would not be in favour of the business unfortunately

I've got a Beko, I was reluctant to buy it, because at the time I was strapped for cash and didn't have much choice. Good if you're on a budget, student etc.
My next washer will either be a LG with direct drive - nice and silent and with a 5 year warranty and 10 year warranty on the motor, or an Ebac - they are British made, have 5 models varying from 10 year warranty, 5 and 3 with repair centre also based in the UK.

Brilliant product, I have had a bell washing machine and fridge freezer for over 6 years now and not a fault to their name.
The washing machine was used over 21 times a week for the first year of its life because my mum was having her house renovated and they washed their clothes at ours. 7 people there and 6 at ours and 7 of whom are kids so you can imagine. We still use it 7 times a week. So it's definitely worth every penny and more.
