Seems like a pretty good price for this and the lowest ive seen for a physical copy of the game. Base and amazon are not selling it at £16.99 anymore either.

I bought this on PC when the first episode launched and my goodness.... it has been an absolute disaster. Great game, great storyline....but wow, the technical issues have all but ruined the experience for me. I'm sure it's all ironed out now. Maybe it was always ok on the PS4. But on the PC it was a very, very rocky road. Telltale need to seriously get their act together. I don't think i'll be buying another game from them in future.
Now that rant is over, this is actually a great game. Each episode lasts for 1.5-2 hours so you're looking at a total of around 7-8 hours of gameplay. When I say gameplay, as with any telltale game, you won't be playing that much as opposed to moving the character, quick time events and solving small puzzles. But hey, it's worth it at this price

This game looks pretty dope but the one thing wrong with these physical releases is that they only include one episode and then the rest needs to be downloaded. Fingers crossed they'll release a "Batman: The Complete Telltale Series" on disc.

One more part is yet to be released. 4/5 have been released so far.

If this is used, won't the code already be redeemed for the future episodes? I'm not sure how it works. I thought that only the first episode was on the disc

No thats not how this works, the disc basically has the first episode installed already and basically acts like a season pass that only works when the disc is inserted.

The disc is basically a portable season pass

This is the problem and it's something that i'm getting tired of with Telltale Games. I wish they'd just wait until it's complete and then release it. I know they want to create anticipation and spread it via word of mouth and social media, but as a customer, playing 1.5 hours on an episode then waiting 1-2 months to play another 1.5 hours is terrible.
It happened with Life Is Strange - another absolutely fantastic game. I played that over 10 months... 10 months of my life to play a 6-7 hour game...

It converts it from a flash in the pan to something you can keep in the back of your mind and the tip of your tongue for a thousand times longer. Best case scenario is where you can join social media groups or forums where you can talk about it as it happens (or even better still, face to face).

Would I be right in saying that the PS4 version of this game is essentially the same game as the iOS version etc?

Like the fact I can buy the disc, and trade it in when finished
