Forgive me if this is a bit slap dash posting it from my phone in a rush as I have to be somewhere.
Asus Strix Nvidia GTX 1080 for £575 (yet to confirm with money taken from my credit card) from amazon.fr
This is the cheapest I've seen this card, ever.
I missed 2 1080 deals around black Friday and was gutted so waited and waited and finally this. I think this is probably the best deal you'll find especially before Xmas.
As for Amazon.fr I followed advice from previously posted info on this site. Choose to pay in euros at checkout. Use a Mastercard to pay if possible. Final price to pay was about 684 euros which according too Google is £575.
The asus Strix is arguably the best version of the 1080 so for me it was worth paying more than the other deals have been (previously £500 and £530)
Also worth noting the MSI GAMING X 1080 is the same price. The PNY custom cooled card is also €640 so probably €648 inc delivery. If you prefer them cards then they're also great deals.
Will probably edit this later to make it a bit neater.
Happy deal hunting!

Go for the MSI or PNY, not the ASUS, as ASUS customer service is non existent

Yea don't use amazon converter. If you buy in euros on amazon which it says up there and let your bank/card do the conversion it's slightly cheaper
FYI if you plan on going SLI down the line like me what with 4k slowly becoming more popular then it's worth investing in a more popular brand imo. If you're just gonna get 1080ti or buy a newer card later on then that works too

I know right; I'm guessing the TI will be around £100 more, and they won't move the price of the 1080 down until AMD releases something.
The 1080ti will be announced on Jan 4th
No doubt the UK retailers will proper shaft us again..

Unless something shakes up the market, I'm expecting £750 for a decent model.

just so you know Asus released a slightly lower clocked strix, the A8G which looks the same, but cheaper.
also, this card is still relevant after the ti release. the ti will match the Pascal Titan which is 30% better than the the 1080, so as long as the 1080ti isnt less than 130% of current 1080 prices, the 1080 is still good for the money

Yea dude like I said the PNY is also a good deal I'm glad you went for it if you're happy with it.
It may have risen back to 750 I haven't checked. Note that the MSI Gaming X was also 675 exactly same as Asus strix. Again I don't know if that got bumped up again too. I didn't expect it to last long tbh.

I've patiently waited for the Ti variant. I've got the 1070 right now, needless to say at 1440p it's fine but still lackluster. I', just glad I haven't shelled out an extra £100-200 on the 1080 for a measley 15-20fps boost. Hopefully the 1080ti will be atleast 30fps better than the 1080
