Great gaming laptop coming in a bit higher than Black Friday prices. This is the cheapest deal available at the moment. This is a lot of hardware for the price.

not to defend the statement, there is some validity in the fact that the new consoles (Xbox one s and ps4 slim) are very portable. I carry a Xbox one s with a gaems m155 screen in a laptop bag and I enjoy using it far more than a skylake 960m laptop I had. there is the fact that I used it purely for gaming and while plugged in, but I got the screen for £110 off eBay, plus £229 for the 1tb bf1 console, £25 Xbox live. £364 for relatively portable gaming. your laptop will probably depreciate that much as soon as you use it. obviously no windows, mouse and keyboard without paying for a xim 4 etc.
but in general, a bit of silly statement to argue with

Why spend that on a laptop when you can get a console.

Get the asus graphics dock and play pretty much any game at full specs.

Do you think you would need a graphics dock with a GTX 1060? You'd have to buy something better to improve the capability, in which case you may as well just buy a higher spec laptop.

if you're going for a graphics dock, just get a laptop with a great processor, loads of ram and a standard onboard gpu. eGPUs are great for if you need a split between gaming and work / play, just plug the dock in when you need to do anything graphics intensive. a lot more future proof too.

Indeed trolls everywhere. Keep seeing the same names pop up in all the computer/console/tv threads. Do these peeps just lurk waiting to dump on all these threads. Get a bloody life ffs.
