But for sure £1/kg cheaper than the deal posted today for Iceland 200gm for £1.

The £1 200g Cheese posted for Iceland earlier is a different type of cheese 'luxury vintage somerset cheese'
For normal standard comparable Iceland cheese the normal price is
200g £1, 450g £2, 700g £3, 1000g (1kg) £4
includes Mild, Mature, Extra Mature, Lighter Mature, Red Leicester, Coloured Cheese
So my 830g block of cheese from Lidl for £2.60 was a bargain then.

£2.60 you mean £2.10!?, I got 2 830g Cheese Blocks from LIDL for £2.10 Each with LIDL voucher best cheese deal of November and December :smiley:

Baargain! Best thing to do with this is chop it into quarters, pan of boiling water 5 minutes, boil it up. Into a bag, zip it up, into the freezer, close the door. Cheese for life. Can't go wrong at these prices.
