Always worth considering if a lower sticker price means that the supermarkets have reduced payments to dairy farmers, or not. I don't know in this case, am not really aware, but it's just a thought. I'd rather pay more if I knew it was paying a decent wage to farmers.

Thank you for thinking about us, but there's no need for you to worry about buying Arla Big Milk!
All Arla dairy products (including Cravendale & Anchor butter) are actually owned by the Arla dairy farmers!
Arla is a dairy cooperative & so all 'profits' are returned to us, the farmer owners!
Our milk price is made up from the sale of the products our milk is made into, so the more you buy the better it is for us!
We ourselves are very proud to be Arla dairy farmers. :sunglasses:
Arla Big Milk is made with milk from the 2,700 British Arla dairy farmer owners.
It has the same long shelf life qualities as Cravendale milk
These occasional 'offers' are made not only to ecourage new customers, but also to reward existing customers.
Any 'loss' from the offer should be made up by lots of new customers buying the product in the future!
Arla tanker picking up our milk.
The "Farmer Owned" logo tells you a product is made with milk from the farmer owners of Arla dairy cooperative. :sunglasses:
Thank you for supporting us - it's greatly appreciated. <3

Isn't all the Asda milk arla? And isn't it £1 for 2.2litres?
EDIT - Just checked and it is sourced from arla and is 99p for 4 pints which is around 2.2L so can't really say this is a hot deal

Yes, all Asda branded milk is from Arla farmers also.
Morrisons own label is too.
Arla Big Milk is a bit more extra special than standard milk though!
- it has been through the Cravendale process where it is filtered to remove the harmless, but milk spoiling bacteria so that it has a longer shelf life - 21 days unopened, and seven days once opened.
- it has added Iron, Vitamin A and Vitamin D - to support your child's growth and development.

My 16m old won't drink any other milk except arla big milk, we started with giving him full fat cravendale but he never used to finish it, went onto organic full fat - same problem. Then was told to give Arla Big Milk a go & he loves it!!
