I think is is separate from the 99p rental using the RENTAL99 code (which is probably to "match" the google play offer) - so it should be possible to get 3 99p rentals between them and a half price purchase on play too.

I believe that you could watch as many of these titles as you wanted for 99p and still use the code to get another rental for 99p. It's a shame that the selection isn't particularly inspiring.
