Not sure about Rival 100, but I have Rival 300 and it's very good.

Decent mouse but the rubber wears away pretty quickly under the lhs buttons

Might be the way i hold it though, but my thumb tends to rest below the left rear button and the rubber has gone. leaves black rubber on thumb a lot.

Just checked Mine which has been used for around 1 year, i could see there is some wear off marks at the position where the thumb grips, but the little rubber dots are still fine, in general its durability is quite ok IMO.

There are a few styles for mouse gripping, Palm Grip, Claw Grip and Fingertip Grip. I am a Palm Grip which has the most contact surface area between the hand and mouse, I guess that's why the wear off is not particularly bad at a certain position
