I been looking out for a 24" IPS monitor for office work and would like to also to do some light hobby based video editing. It's not for gaming purposes but still does feature 4ms response time.
I was looking keeping it under £100. It comes with VGA, DVI & HDMI inputs. Seemed to me to be the best sub-£100 spend for an all purpose office based IPS monitor, on sale at the moment.
I would have liked if it was mountable and if it had speaker but these would have been bonus features rather then a requirement. I needed a monitor urgently so just placed the order.
It might help someone looking for something similar. If there is something available for sale at present that meets the same requirement for the same budget, it would be helpful if those options can be highlighted to help other hot deal seekers.

The other point that caught my eye was the feature listed as Blue Light Filter - Acer G7 series monitor: Acer Blue Light Filter technology reduces eye strain.
Not true. "Gaming" monitors is just a way to overprice cheap TN panels. General gaming is better on IPS due to the colours. For competitive, fast-paced games, then yes you'd want the lower response times and higher refresh rate of TN panels but you'll take a huge hit in visuals. For the majority of consumers, an IPS is a far better trade off.
There are high refresh rate IPS panels but they're extremely expensive at the moment and response times will still be 6-12ms

I had ordered a similar HP monitor for £5 less off Very using a 10% code but Yodel were a beacon of incompetence and couldn't deliver it. Very then wanted me to re-order and the code couldn't be used again so that wasn't happening.
So this will make a great alternative and is 24 not 22". Cheers OP! Heat added

HD monitors have been around £100 for a few years now. The push is to start getting some decent 1440p down in price with the gpu's to support them.

Sub-£100 24" HD monitors have indeed been around for a long time. However, branded 24" FHD IPS monitors with response time of 4ms and input options of VGA, DVI and HDMI for under £100 is less common.

I'd love a recommendation for a 27" IPS monitor if anyone knowledgeable might have one. Will be used for movies, watching football and working with photoshop. No gaming. Thanks guys.

If you are seeking a monitor for general/office use and will also use it for gaming, then arguably this should be on your shortlist.
