£50 off ALL PS4 Consoles at Very when you Buy Now Pay Later (over 12 months) meaning the Pro can be had for £299.99.
The £50 is credited back to your account.
OK, it's not as good as their recent 20% off that's now expired, but I believe this is the cheapest way to get a pro?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
1. Buy any PlayStation console and select Buy Now Pay Later at checkout.
2. We'll automatically credit £50 back to your account by 1st Feb 2017, and we’ll email you when we have applied the credit to your account.
Buy Now Pay Later allows you to delay payment for up to 6, 9 or 12 months. The payment free period starts when you place your order.
Avoid interest by paying in full within the payment free period. If you don't, interest will be charged. Find out more in checkout.
Delivery charges are payable on your next statement.
Order must be placed online. If you return your item, the credit will be reversed. This offer can't be used in conjunction with other offers. Offer live 8th – 23rd Dec 2016.

So If you use the 10% off for being a new customer, you lose the £50 cashback!! Despite the fact they put mine on a normal account rather than buy now pay later which I selected.

Lucky you - I ordered back in November and just assumed there was no mention of BNPL on the order confirmation even though I repeatedly checked it was in the basket at checkout at the comments advice.
Got a statement through last week saying I owed them, rang up their Indian call center where a woman who I couldn't understand (and apparently couldn't understand me either) effectively told me "tough". She then bizarrely told me she could make the amount owed BNPL now, but not with the discount. So effectively robbing me of £50.
First and last time dealing with Very. Paid in full 3 mins after the call, and pending account closure.

Having 4k bluray support gives no different impression than supporting 4k netflix. Not having a 4k bluray player is a massive mistake in my opinion. I've had xbox one and ps4 for a while. When i chose to upgrade one to a 4k offering, the bluray player on the xbox one was the deciding factor for me.

1-Very has high interests if one has to pay them interest it means very poor value for money and a trick to charge hefty interest.who gives a poop if it creates jobs by ripping others off? giving by one hand taking by the other etc etc
2-on the positive side, if item is payed during the interest free period (could be 3,6 or 12 months) no interest will be charged.so that's the only, reasonable approach.but Very's word needs to be trusted as they give credit back in couple of months and not straightaway.and some people have had bad experience with them, sying they don't honour it etc..so it's a risk it seems.

I posted this yesterday on a less popular deal. Just trying to help out though
Just to make people aware, some users of the PS4 Pro have had the 'Black Screen of Startup' when connecting to certain LG and Samsung TV's. Your TV or PS4 Pro isn't broken, it does still work, it's just an issue that either Sony or the TV manufacturers need to fix.
Here's a little work around for you:
– Make sure your PS4 is off
– Plug the HDMI cable into the 4K HDMI 2.0 port on your TV
– Turn your TV on
– Hold down the power button on your PS4 until it beeps twice (Safe mode)
– Change HDCP setting to 1.4 only
– PS4 will restart and you’ll probably still have no signal
– Turn PS4 off and get back to Safe Mode (step 4)
– Choose change resolution which will restart PS4
If you get an image after PS4 restarts then choose the YUV420 option. Hooray!
If you got no signal still after PS4 restarted then go back to safe mode and go back to HDCP and choose automatic
Got back to safe mode again and choose change resolution and then choose yuv420
If still not working then try the above steps a couple more times
Before you attempt these fixes, first make sure your console is connected to one of your TV’s modern HDMI ports, version 1.4 or higher. If you’re looking to get a 4K signal and HDR, the HDMI port needs to be 2.0, as does the HDMI cable itself.
Like I said, this problem will either be fixed by TV manufacturers through a firmware update, or by Sony through an updated PS4 firmware.

Yeah really? I got a sim free S7 Edge from Very with 20% off RRP plus £60 Quidco back when the phone was released in March. It saved me around £200. No one else was doing anywhere near that sort of deal at the time for a new sim free model.
Also in regards to the PS Pro Very were doing it for £299 at launch with the £50 cashback deal and 12 months BNPL. I nearly went with it myself but went with John Lewis instead due to 2 year warranty and the discount i get from JL. As it happens Amazon and John Lewis were the next cheapest at the time at £332 so don't give me any of this pish about there being better deals elsewhere. Do you think I zip up the back or something?

I've purchased an iPad Pro & laptop from them in last few months with cash back offers & not had a problem.
If you buy & talk to CS they will confirm the date when the cash back will be added to your account. You never physically get the cash but it is taken off your bill. So buy an item such as this with BNPL then wait for cash back to be added to your bill then either pay it all off then in one lump sum or
pay monthly over the interest free period until paid off within a year of the purchase.
Not had any issues. Just make sure you pay it all of within the 0% time or Very has high interest!

Been quite impressed by Very
Originally ordered a PS4 in the deal a few months back, unfortunately like many others it got cancelled. So I sent a polite email complaint to Very customer services and waited for a reply.
Thought I would try again and ordered this deal the other week when it was first launched.
PS4 1tb with Uncharted / Drive Club / Ratchet & Clank for £249.99
With £50 credit and the Top Cashback new customer £15 worked out at £184.99, which I was more than happy with.
Then to my surprise I received an email from Very customer services apologising for the previous inconvenience, and as a gesture of goodwill crediting my account for £30.
So worked out I got a PS4 and 3 games for £154.99.

I have never had a problem with Very. Yes, they are overpriced generally. I only buy when they send these voucher deals. I have always been credited with the amount promised a short time after the purchase, even before I have had to make a payment. So, theres none of this; get a credit to spend on another purchase malarky. You get the credit to your account with Very before you make a payment and thus in effect you are getting it at the reduced price as promised. I have bought a number of 3DS games this way.

There has been a concerted move away from physical media in recent years to digital media and streaming so missing a physical 4K disc player is not a big problem unless you live in the boondocks with poor internet.
However that isn't the reason this was left out of the PS4 Pro. Sony like to portray the PS4 as a gaming machine first and foremost and adding a 4K disc player in gives the impression the PS4 is moving away from that. There's also the fact that they save a bit of cash doing this as well.

Simplistic for me.

Yet there's people like me who've ordered loads of stuff from Very over the years using their promotions and never had one problem at all and saved loads of money along the way.
It's amazing how companies treat one customer one way and another a different way. :smirk:

I'd be sceptical about it, read reviews on very and there has been numerous issues with giving money, credit back on similar deals. Not voting either way, but for the sake of £15 pounds I'd buy it from say Argos and have 100% chance of no issues and collection.
...... each for their own, but at least read reviews and make up your decision.

Bought my console last month when the same offer was on, took a screen grab as proof in case they try and get out of honouring it.

Took out the 20% deal. Now concerned after reading the comments that they won't honour it.

So this will cost me £350 and i get £50 back in my account to spend on future very purchases ? So it actually costs me 350 and not 300?

It took me almost 6 months to get £25 back from the last 10% off HP laptops deal. It was only when I said I was closing my account and leaving that they paid out within a couple of days.

I think you have to buy now and pay later and then they will credit £50 back to your account!

I knew I was meant to add something else to the original post.
I'll edit now.
Opening post

Moronic misleading crooks.
I ordered mine on 19th. Just sent them my screen shot I took following seeing this deal and buying a Pro from them
(Very customer for 2+ years and No previous problems)
Got a statement through last week saying I owed them, rang up their Indian call center where a woman who I couldn't understand (and apparently couldn't understand me either) effectively told me "tough". She then bizarrely told me she could make the amount owed BNPL now, but not with the discount. So effectively robbing me of £50.
First and last time dealing with Very. Paid in full 3 mins after the call, and pending account closure.
Managed to order again using the BNPL option so now I have 2.
Makes perfect sense how such a subjective thing can have an objective category
but ok..
I won though.
Seriously, avoid this wretched company.
BNPL worked a treat , new customer and instant 2K to spend.
Just hope they honour this come Feb

read my post again.I said the same thing about interest.
this website is not business schools no one cares how business models of these companies work, what people care here is a good deal and to save money.that's why I correctly said your comment is irrelevant.
End of discussion.
I spent 15 hours to resolve issues with these clowns and finally a nice lady sorted everything in 5 mins
Never again !!!!
And also, as a Pro (and PSVR) owner I can tell you for certain, if you have to think about whether you can afford this console, you don't need it. The upgrade isn't that big and many games have no upgrade at all yet.
a hdmi is a hdmi, its the box setting to set for hz
like sky hd boxes are only 50hz, kodi boxes you can set up to 4k 60hz
there is no such thing as a port set up
Just to make people aware, some users of the PS4 Pro have had the 'Black Screen of Startup' when connecting to certain LG and Samsung TV's.

Top right section of this site has a search button > Enter Very.co.uk and read through the comments of every time this site has come up here. I'll let you find out yourself if you don't already know about this company.
Enjoy.
It is money off what you owe so you do actually save the money which in this case is £50 on the PS4 Pro.
Avoid this as peeps have advised above
Personal experience or just another person mindlessly bashing on a company with no reason to?
Also in regards to the PS Pro Very were doing it for £299 at launch with the £50 cashback deal and 12 months BNPL. I nearly went with it myself but went with John Lewis instead due to 2 year warranty and the discount i get from JL. As it happens Amazon and John Lewis were the next cheapest at the time at £332 so don't give me any of this pish about there being better deals elsewhere. Do you think I zip up the back or something?

If you buy & talk to CS they will confirm the date when the cash back will be added to your account. You never physically get the cash but it is taken off your bill. So buy an item such as this with BNPL then wait for cash back to be added to your bill then either pay it all off then in one lump sum or
pay monthly over the interest free period until paid off within a year of the purchase.
Not had any issues. Just make sure you pay it all of within the 0% time or Very has high interest!
So worked out I got a PS4 and 3 games for £154.99.
http://uk.ign.com/wikis/playstation-4/PS4_Pro_Game_Upgrades_and_Differences
However that isn't the reason this was left out of the PS4 Pro. Sony like to portray the PS4 as a gaming machine first and foremost and adding a 4K disc player in gives the impression the PS4 is moving away from that. There's also the fact that they save a bit of cash doing this as well.
Simplistic for me.
