Love these Security Cameras - 7 Days unlimited cloud storage and they are so easy to setup!
Mobile app is great and works very well with pop-up and email notifications.
It can also be turned off at particular times of the day where there is a lot of activity.
Cheapest it’s been on Amazon - i just picked up my second... grab a bargain in my opinion...

Heat for price. No 2 way audio from what I can tell though.

I believe the camera has the ability for two-way audio but the app is just waiting to be updated...watch this space...

Well, given these are supposed to be SECURITY cameras, the point of having your video footage stored offsite should be self evident!! If you store it locally then guess what? The same scroat who breaks in to steal your stuff will also steal the HDD or whatever local system you are using to record the images.

if anyone knows of a good doorbell version of these with 2wayid appreciate a heads up
each type I find seems to have one issue or another
yeah I quite liked the look of the ring device but didn't want to have to pay £25 every year for ever more :disappointed: do you have the std. or the pro version? and what delay before motion detection and or press detection? also delay when instigating live view from the phone?? definitely interested..

I hear you.
Regarding the ongoing cost, that's only if you want to maintain a history of video capture.
You can still live view regardless.
Delay wise, I'd say 2-3 seconds and I have a notifcation I can follow on my devices, another 2-3 seconds to load the video and talk. Depends on lots of factors (i have a screen lock enabled on my phone), WIFI performance etc.
PIR detection is very good, perhaps even too sensitive for my liking.
You can return it no questions asked.

I thought the live video function only works on a wired connection with Ring?

I believe so yeah... but im prepared to wire mine in anyway.. tbh the idea that you take it off the door frame every3-6 months seems a bit bizarre to me lol, but my front door is right next to my fusebox(read 'consumer unit' for the pedantic  )/ so POP to wire it in
the website have a discount code but it only matches the amazon price :disappointed: but you do get a free solar powered 'illuminated stop' sign lol
the Pro version should be being released at the end of the year so Im tempted to wait :S

I have one, very useful! Especially with IFTTT compliance.
