I bought some the other month and really didn't like it - far, far too sweet. Actually, what is it with cider these days, even the "dry" ciders seem to be sickly sweet. I guess they are now the new alcopops for those who feel too sophisticated, or perhaps too ashamed, to be drinking alcopops.

Have you tried Aspalls premier cru? I found that very dry (a bit too dry for my taste), but not sweet. You can tell its a quality drink though, but that's why it isn't as cheap as this. Voted hot as its a good price.
