I found these reduced in my local Tesco (Banbury) this morning.
It may be a local only deal but it looks like they are reducing the old models of the TP Link adapters as they also had a wifi kit available for £17 (WPA4220) which I grabbed as well.
These are the 500Mbps models but with a firmware update they can run at 600Mbps.
There was only one on the shelf that I bought, but they had another of the wifi kits if that's of any use to anyone.

Got the Wifi extender versions from Sainsburys for £45 in the Nectar double up. Worked straight away with my other branded ones already set up (TRENDNet I think)

they sync @ 100mbps as they all have 100mbps Ethernet ports. but great price if they can be found.

No they don't, I have these and they sync around 300Mbps. The entry point into the powerline network over Ethernet is capped at 100Mpbs as per the Ethernet port.

Bought these for £15 not long ago one of my good purchases of the year, just bought a second set for my sister this is a great price.
By sync, I mean the speed the powerline adapter is connected to it's own powerline network across the mains wiring. You can install a powerline network utility that will give you all the details of your powerline network including connected adapters, sync speed etc. As for that link you provided, it lists this model's maximum throughput as 87.8Mbps which given the Ethernet port is already a limiting factor at 100Mbps is pretty close to it's maximum speed.
Don't confuse the Powerline network speed in a best case scenario (in this case 500Mbps or 600Mbps with upgraded firmware) with the speed a single adapter can operate at.

I know this is an old listing, and this offer may not be available but appears people know what they are talking about and I wanted a bit of help if possible.
I have on of these ( I think it is this model, maybe another) and my PS4 and Smart TV are connected in the living room
I want to get another and connect the kids xBox upstairs and the Wifi signal is terrible for online gaming. Can I buy another powerline adapter and just use the box you connect the xBox to upstairs and it will connect to the existing adapter connected to my router, or will I need to use both adapters in the router, and if so, do both router connected adapters have to be connected directly in to the mains and not through an extension cable?

Yes this can be done with the Powerline adapters. This link shows you how to do it even though it's for a different model.
You can pair multiple adapters together and only need the one connected into your router.
