This internal drive is in their CyberMonday promotion, so I'm guessing the price will go back up very soon. Possible 1.5% TCB.

I like the fact that it'slabelled "Extreme" and yet Ebuyer couldn't be bothered putting any read/write speeds up. Looks like it's around 150 Mbytes/sec read and write, which doesn't seem that "extreme" to me (a 4-year-old Seagate 2TB I have is 172 Mbytes/sec and 161 Mbytes/sec write) . I have a Toshiba 4TB (different model) and the disk head noise is very loud - like there's a gerbil trapped around in there trying to get out - looks like this model might be a bit noisy too.

I have one of these and I find it to be bit on the noisy side. I dunno if it's just because my PC case is open but I was on the phone to my GF and even she complained about the noise in the background.

I have also found Toshiba drives really noisy, mine clicks regularly (not the click of death) because of it's over zealous head unloading AAM control in the firmware. Other than that performance and reliability wise it's been OK but it's only been about a year.
